Romanian Delegation Visits Pixel

Study Visit on Social Economy

Representatives of the Romanian organization EuroEd spent a week in Florence, at Pixel, between 7 and 12 September 2015. The objective of the Study Visit was to give participants the opportunity to: acquire a better understanding of social economy in Italy and in Tuscany; acquire knowledge about the current policies and strategies in the field of social economy; acquire information about how social economy is organized and managed in Italy and in Tuscany in particular; share best practices with social enterprises and cooperatives both at public and private level; develop new contacts and explore opportunities of cooperation with public and private institutions operating in the field of social economy. During the mobility initiative, a training course was organized by Pixel as well as meetings between the Romanian group and managers of public and private social enterprises and public key policy makers operating in the field of social economy.
