European Project Supporting Refugees Integration in HEIs

The Fourth Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated the fourth meeting of the European project entitled Together – Innovative European Learning Path to Facilitate the Access of Refugees to HE, which took place online – using the Zoom web platform – on 28 and 29 June 2021. The European project entitled Together was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 – Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education. The Together project has been written and coordinated by the project applicant and scientific coordinator IUS Gentium Conimbrigae based in Coimbra (Portugal) in cooperation with Pixel, also supporting the coordination of the planning process. The aim of the Together project is to develop social responsibility of Higher Education students providing them with intercultural and civic competences, raising their awareness on integration of refugees issues and having them working together with refugees and stakeholders of the third sector (NGOs) in order to play their potential key role in making University more inclusive. During the fourth meeting, the European project partners finalized the second Intellectual Output, the Toolkit for students and preparation for the testing. In addition, the European project partners reviewed the deadlines for the third Intellectual Output, the Guidelines for academic staff.
