European Project promoting Plant Breeding and Biotechnology
Third Meeting
Pixel participated in the third meeting of the European project entitled BREEDTECH – Building Capacity in Plant Breeding and Biotechnology Education and Research through partnership program in Africa, Middle East and Europe for Agricultural transformation which took place on 29-30 September 2025 at Pixel based in Florence (Italy). The European project entitled BREEDTECH has been written and coordinated by the project applicant University of Egerton (Kenya) and involved Pixel in the transnational partnership. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education. The BREEDTECH project aims at building the capacity in plant breeding and biotechnology education and research in Africa, Middle East, and Europe. During the second meeting, all partners participated in the meeting, and presented the Quality Assurance and monitoring activities carried out by Pixel, the facilities upgrade, installation and deployment at EgU, LU, HU, OBU, ANNU and QOU, the drafting of Joint BREEDTECH Scientific papers and discussed on Status Students Pilot Projects.
