Elisabetta Delle Donne
President and Managing Director
Elisabetta Delle Donne is Pixel's founding president and managing director.
Elisabetta graduated in Political Sciences – International Affairs from the University of Florence in 1993. Since then, for the last 30 years, she has been working in international cooperation. From 1993 to 1998 she worked as a European project manager in a consortium of higher education institutions. In 1999 she created Pixel and since then she has been its president and managing director.
Elisabetta is an expert in the planning and management of international projects, particularly in education and research. For 30 years, she has consulted international universities and public bodies on accessing international funding opportunities and on project management. She is currently advising fifteen different universities worldwide. So far, she has been a project planner and manager in more than 180 international projects funded by the European Commission. Several European projects that she coordinated were selected as an example of best practice and referred to as Success Stories by the European Commission.
Elisabetta has developed and coordinated partnerships with more than 500 bodies worldwide, including universities, public authorities, research centres etc.
Since 2008, Elisabetta has been an external expert in quality management and an external evaluator in several European projects.
Since 2012, she has been an evaluator of European Project Proposals and Final Reports submitted in the framework of the Erasmus KA220-Cooperation Partnerships in the field of Higher Education, Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships Programme, Erasmus+ Youth, COST, Horizon 2020.
Since 2020, Elisabetta has been the Evaluation Manager, monitoring the work of expert evaluators of project proposals and Final Reports submitted in the framework of KA220-Erasmus - Cooperation Partnerships in the Field of Higher Education; Erasmus+ KA226 Erasmus - Strategic Partnerships for Digital Education Readiness; Erasmus+ - KA203 Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education.
Elisabetta is the founder and coordinating manager of three international conferences in the field of Higher Education organized yearly by Pixel since 2007. Elisabetta is also the coordinator and member of the scientific committees of these international conferences.
Elisabetta is a lecturer, at higher education level, in the field of European Project Planning and Management. She is also a trainer in international seminars on European Project Planning and Management, organized by Pixel. Elisabetta is also the coordinator of the international Master in European cooperation as well as one of the trainers. The Master Program has now reached its 12th edition.
The 18th edition of her book, L’Italiano Praticamente, a Manual for Teachers of Italian as a Foreign Language, has recently been re-published. Andrea Peraldo
Senior European Project ManagerAndrea Peraldo works in the field of European projects since 2001. He has planned and managed more than 40 projects funded by the European Commission. Andrea is also specialized in the planning of budgets and in the management of the administrative and financial issues of international projects. Andrea provides support and guidance to institutions for financial management and reporting in European projects. Andrea has also planned and managed over 20 projects funded by the European Social Fund.

Lorenzo Martellini
Senior European Project Manager
Lorenzo graduated in Economy – Business Administration from the University of Florence in 1999.
He started working at Pixel as Project Manager in 2000. He has been the coordinator of projects funded by the European Social Fund in the following areas: in company training, entrepreneurship, tourism, language learning.
Since 2004 he is also a European Project Manager. He has managed several projects funded by the European Commission in the field of education and training. The main subject areas of these projects are: entrepreneurship, health, language learning, tourism management, ICT and media education.
Since 2007 Lorenzo also manages 3 yearly International Conferences organized by Pixel in the field of education: The Future of Education, ICT for Language Learning, New Perspective for Science Education.
Lorenzo is also trainer in the framework of in service teacher and adult training initiatives in the field of: new technologies for education, information technologies for business management, e-learning for language teaching and Italian language for foreigners.
Finally Lorenzo is in charge of applying, at Pixel, the quality management principles on which the quality management system standards of the ISO 9000:2008 series are based.

Antonio Giordano
Assistant Project Manager
Antonio obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistic Intermediation for the European Union at the University of Bari in 2006.
Following this, he obtained the Master’s Degree in Foreign Languages for the International Cooperation at the University “G. D’Annunzio” of Chieti-Pescara in 2008.
In 2009, he attended the European Public Relations MBA organized by Ateneo Impresa – Business School of Rome.
From 2007 to 2008 Antonio worked as Italian language assistant in France. From 2009 to 2011 he worked for an online press agency focusing on Italian people living abroad.
From 2012 he has been working at Pixel as Assistant Project Manager.
At Pixel, Antonio is currently in charge of supporting the coordination of European projects in the fields of quality in language education, history of economics thought, justice, marketing.
Antonio is also responsible for the organization of European Mobility Initiatives addressed to teachers, experts, students from all over Europe. The mobility initiatives he organized focused on vocational education and training, tourism and eno-gastronomy, adult education.
Antonio is the tutor of the International master “European project planning and management”, which reached its third edition. Antonio maintains the contacts with all the trainers involved in the master course and provides support and information to the students involved. Antonio is also in charge of the organization of the international internships for the master students.
Antonio is also social media manager and edits the online contents of Pixel website. Antonio is also in charge of the Pixel Facebook and Twitter pages as well as of the social media pages of some of the current European projects coordinated by Pixel.

Leonardo Paterna
Administrative Expert
Leonardo graduated in 1998 in "Economics" - business address – at the University of Florence.
From 1990 to 2009, Leonardo worked in his family’ business. The tasks carried out within the company were as follows: marketing management of both Italian and foreign customers, suppliers and logistics management, general accounting and management control.
Since 2009, Leonardo works at Pixel as administrative expert in the accounting department.
The tasks Leonardo carries out at Pixel are related to the
management of administration issues, including: general accounting, management control and reporting.
Leonardo is also in charge of the administrative aspects of the European projects, including internal reporting, and of the international conferences organized by Pixel.

Valeria Gargiani
Coordinator of the Conference Secretariat
Valeria obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Languages and Cultures for International Communication and Cooperation, specialized in Chinese Language at Ca' Foscari University in Venice.
After this, she moved to Shanghai (China) for one year to practice and perfect Chinese language at the East China Normal University.
Valeria has begun her career in the communication field since 2016 working in a communication and marketing agency in Milan and Florence.
At Pixel, Valeria is in charge of the International Conferences Secretariat.
She manages all the practical organization and logistics of each Conference.
Valeria is in contact with all Conference participants providing answers to all questions as well as support and assistance.
She is also responsible of the Pixel Conferences social media channels.

Antonio Federico Braì
Assistant Project Manager
Antonio received a bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Salento (Lecce).
During the same period he was able to take part in the Erasmus+ program, spending a semester at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Latvia (Riga, LV). At the end of his bachelor's degree, he did a summer internship at the Italian Hellenic Chamber of Commerce in Athens (GR) as an administrative assistant. He then moved to Florence to attend the Master's program in International Relations and European Studies at the "Cesare Alfieri" School of Political Science (Unifi).
At Pixel, Antonio manages projects funded by the Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership program in the vocational education and training sector.
He carries out the project tasks in collaboration with the transnational partnership, he organizes and takes part in meetings, carries out research activities and the dissemination of projects.
Antonio is also responsible for the Pixel accounts on Instagram and Linkedin, where he posts information related to international activities conducted at the company level.

Barbara Bruscoli
Account Office
Barbara obtained a diploma in Foreign Languages at the Comprehensive Institute Alessandro Volta in Bagno a Ripoli, Florence in 1989. In 1988 Barbara attended High School in Pueblo, Colorado, where she received a diploma after having spent the whole year in the United States as an exchange student thanks to the winning of a scholarship of the International Cultural Association “AFS - American Field Service”.
Barbara is a qualified secretary, with over 20 years of secretarial work experience and she has always been in charge of providing support to her collegues and management teams in different professional situations and various fields.
At Pixel, Barbara provides secretarial support and assistance to all in-service staff.
She is in charge of: all of the front office activities, the practical organization of the education and training initiatives, the first contacts with project managers, experts, trainers, trainees cooperating with Pixel.
Barbara is also in charge of keeping the agenda, managing contacts with the main suppliers and organizing everything concerned with office activities and staff necessities.

William Castelli
Assistant Project ManagerWilliam Castelli holds a Bachelor's degree in ‘Politics and International Relations’ from Kingston University of London. He then completed a Masters course of study in ‘Public and Cultural Diplomacy’ at the University of Siena, discussing a thesis in International History. During his studies, he had the opportunity to do an internship at the Honorary Consulate of St.Kitts and Nevis in Florence as an administrative assistant; William also gained experience as a politics news columnist. At Pixel, he manages European projects funded by the Erasmus+ KA2 in the field of vocational education and training. In particular, he is active in the coordination of all project management phases such as: project quality control, deadlines oversight and assistance for dissemination activities. It also supports the partners in compiling project reports.
