European Project on Healthy Nutrition

The Third Transnational Meeting

Pixel participated in the third meeting of the European project entitled HealthEdu - Health Friendly Nutrition (Methodology of Health Friendly Nutrition Development and Practice in Educational Institutions) held on 12 July 2018 in Varna (Bulgaria). The European project entitled HealthEdu was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of School Education. The European project has been written and coordinated by eMundus based in Kaunas (Lithuania) and involves Pixel in the transnational partnership. This European project is aimed at improving the healthy nutrition habits of children and families, also promoting healthy lifestyle principles in the community. During the third meeting, the European project partners presented the educational activities carried out in kindergartens aiming at approaching children to a friendly and health nutrition. Some of those activities were carried out during the meeting too, as it was held in a private kindergarten. In addition, project partners finalized the editing of the methodological material to be addressed to parents, teachers and canteens’ staff.
