Connect Brussels (Connect Your City – Brussels ASBL) is a Belgian non-profit organization founded in 2019, dedicated to empowering young people, particularly from socially vulnerable backgrounds and individuals with disabilities. Operating within the Jette neighbourhood—marked by high unemployment and socio-economic challenges—Connect Brussels fosters personal and social development through creative activities, activism, and volunteering. The organization plays a pivotal role in the proximity and social economy ecosystem by offering skill-building workshops, mental health support, and community engagement initiatives. Through the Connect Your City network, which spans 20 youth centres in Belgium, Greece, and Cyprus, Connect Brussels contributes to social inclusion, disability awareness, and youth engagement, creating opportunities for young people to thrive, connect, and build resilience. The organization integrates storytelling, mindfulness, and digital innovation, addressing local challenges while promoting solidarity, accessibility, and an inclusive European identity.
