Non-governmental organization established by the University of Bucharest in 2011 to support and facilitate academic cooperation and shared action between students, alumni and academic staff, in view of increasing the level of expertise offered by the university, for the benefit of all three categories. The Association aims to contribute to the implementation of scientific and institutional projects developed by the university, its departments and its research centers. Among other areas of action, it has been involved, in partnership with the Goldstein Goren Center for Hebrew Studies, in the organization of training sessions in Holocaust education for history teachers and the provision of logistical support to teachers and teacher associations in regard to the history of the Jews and the Holocaust (historical research as well as pedagogical resources and tools).
